About River Edge Behavioral Health

River Edge offers behavioral health outpatient services to adults in Fulton County experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Therefore, we are seeking dedicated healthcare providers to join our team of professionals in the delivery of recovery-oriented services.

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the
Certified Peer Specialist will:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides focused education and support for individuals/families served.
- Provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families.
- Participates in team meetings and performs crisis intervention.
- Will work on a team to provide seamless services to individuals served.
- Will provide education/support to the individual and their families.
- Conduct group life skills training
Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience):
- COVID Vaccinated
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must been trained as a Certified Peer Specialist or be willing to undergo training to achieve the same.
All selected applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
