Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant – Part-time

Community Home Care Services is looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our growing team of home care professionals in the Knox, IN area. This position is available part-time and possibly PRN depending on applicant availability. We offer flexible scheduling to our clinicians. We serve home bound patients in Starke, Marshall, Fulton, and Pulaski Counties.

Certified Occupational Therapists Assistants are responsible for administering therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing physician prescribed occupational therapy.
• Returning the individual to optimum functional levels within the patient’s capabilities.
• Participating with other health care personnel within the interdisciplinary team.
• Actively participate in patient care planning and treatment.
• Taking initial history and making initial evaluations.
• Consulting with and reporting to physicians regarding any patient changes, as well as overall progress.
• Instructing patients and family/significant others in home programs and activities of daily living.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per visit (compensation is based on experience)
