Title : Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Petoskey, MI
Contract Weeks: 13 Weeks (Possible extension)
Shift : Day Shift

Responsibilities may include but not limited to.

• Answers resident/patient call lights and requests and provides a calm, clean and safe environment for our residents/patients.
• Immediately reports observations and/or abnormalities noticed during care to the nursing supervisor, such as bruises, pressure areas, or any change in the resident/patient's condition.
• Routinely checks and provides necessary care to incontinent residents/patients.
• Practice proper transfer and movement techniques according to procedure to avoid discomfort to the resident/patient and to maintain employee safety.
• Properly apply protective devices to prevent discomfort/injury to the residents/patients.Assists resident/patients with ambulation to bathroom, activities, etc.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• BLS (AHA)

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of LTC, MS, or Home Health experience
• Certified in the state of Michigan
• COVID Vaccination

Minimum Work Experience:

• Two (2) years’ experience of nursing assistant experience.
• Knowledge of relevant nursing care
