Concrete Finishers are responsible for performing tasks related to the finishing and polishing of concrete surfaces. A Senior Concrete Finisher will incorporate their experience and knowledge to provide technical support, training and leadership to less experienced concrete finishers. The candidate will manually apply a wide range of tools and carry out the operation of various power tools in order to complete work assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Attach rebar to concrete floors and ceilings.
• Operate a jackhammer to break up concrete.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, and repointing brick or block walls.
• Paint uneven walls and ceilings with cement mortar.
• Mix and transport cement, sand, gravel, and water for use in concrete floors and walls.
• Use a mortar trowel to smooth surfaces of freshly mixed concrete.
• Cover rough spots on surfaces of freshly mixed concrete with a float.
• Clean surfaces of freshly mixed concrete to ensure uniformity.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
