CDL Class A Driver

Driver needed for CDL Class A Routes Monday – Friday, daytime hours with a start time from 6:00 AM, with some Saturdays as needed. CDL Class A Driver will operate out of our Halethorpe, MD terminal and make local deliveries in the Baltimore/DC/ Northern VA area.

  • Route 4 Start out of Halethorpe – 3 stops (two stops Woodbridge, VA & Stafford, VA) Start time 06:00 Monday thru Friday (Saturday work when needed). Starting rate $220

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF CDL A DRIVING EXPERIENCE, NO FELONY CONVICTIONS AND NO SAFETY DIVING ISSUES.

CDL Class A Driver Responsibilities:

  • Run local routes
  • Must be hands on with the unload process. Driver will be delivering to a retail store's receiving dock and have the responsibility of bringing items to the rear of the truck for the receivers to accept.
  • Must be courteous & professional at all times.
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy and have good communication.
  • Must be in uniform and always have ID displayed.
  • Must follow all procedures related to the safe & secure delivery of the items to the store.
  • Must understand the importance of every procedural detail as it relates to compliance to the customer's requirements.

CDL Class A Driver Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum CDL Class A experience is REQUIRED.
  • Clean background and MVR required.
  • Must have a good driving record - no consistent speeding, seatbelt, or red light history.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds,
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
