JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Catering Sales Manager

Reports To: Director of Catering

Office Location: Denver (Required to work out of the Denver Support Center)

Responsibilities

• Book catering orders for assigned locations

• Coordinate and assist Director of Catering with all sales calls and website inquiries

• Solicit both promotional & corporate paid catering orders

• Input catering order details into shared Management Database (Date of event, client contact information, etc.)

• Create catering quotes

• Outreach to local businesses with food samples and catering information

• Liaison with venue management to ensure proper catering execution during catering order

• Submit Weekly Catering Sales Report which include:

o List of catering orders from previous week and upcoming week

o Previous week’s revenue

o Forecasted revenue for the upcoming week

o Forecasted revenue for the upcoming month

o Month to date revenue

o Year to date revenue

o New business strategy and initiatives

o Sales efforts, cold calls

o Hosted on Premise Events and Attended off Premise Catering Events

• Research markets to identify opportunities for catering (Cold Calls)

• Maintain fiscal responsibility for budgeted goals

• Close out month end books, first overview: ensure all catering orders are rung in, revenues are allocated correctly

• Participate in the organization of in-house promotional events

• Three years of experience required

• Responsible for managing $XXX revenue
