The Cat Lounge is a non-profit cat rescue and we are San Diego's first and only non-profit cat lounge! We rescue cats from high kill shelters and provide a safe haven where they can be rehabilitated and adopted.
We are seeking a reliable transporter that is able to pick up cats/kittens (in carriers) from our facility and take them to and from our veterinarian office.
This service is on an as-needed basis and does not have a consistent schedule. There are weeks we may need help 2-3 times and others where we may not need any.
This is an approximately 20 mile round trip and in total would take approximately an hour. You will be compensated $30 total for 1 round trip for this time. $12 for mileage (This is calculated from The Lounge to the Vet and the Vet back to the Lounge at .60 cents per mile) $18 is for your time.
Drop off is at our veterinarian in Point Loma at 8-8:30 am (you can either come to the lounge early morning to pick up the kitties or take them home the night before). Pick up is is around 4:30-5:00 pm (and bring them back to the lounge!). only Monday - Friday (no weekends!)
