Malvern Health Food Services is currently seeking a full time Cashier for our location in Philadelphia, PA. This position is full time, benefit eligible position!

Position Summary: Under the supervision of a Food Service Director, is responsible for opening/closing of café, assists in providing accurate recording of café purchases in point of sales system TOAST, and providing excellent customer service.

Summary of Essential Position Functions:

• Assists in opening/closing of café.

• Collects payments by accepting cash/charge using POS system TOAST.

• Maintains appearance of front end of the café, cleaning, stocking, and setting up.

• Responds to and directs, where necessary, customer inquiries related to Constitution Health Plaza.

• Ensure the highest quality products and services are available.

• Provides a positive customer experience with friendly and courteous service.

• Utilizes appropriate verbal and written communication to hospital personnel, patients, and/or government agencies.

• Attends in-services and all required trainings

• Other duties as may be assigned

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
