Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Cash Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for monitoring, investigating and reporting on cash related variances. This includes ATM variances, vault variances, 3rd party and criminal events. This is a crucial role to ensure all variances have the appropriate level of follow-up, creating accountability and visibility on risk throughout the organization. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a can-do attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm for customers, and be able to solve problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Build and maintain a deep knowledge of VTS and PAI systems and process.
- Report on inventory balance positions and liaise with funding entities; customers and suppliers.
- Monitor large out of balances and pre-claim responses, to ensure Field Operations is investigating and responding in a timely manner
- Support Cash Reconciliation and Field team to investigate formal claims
- Build analysis reports that show trends related to specific branches, staff and ATM’s and partner with the local Operations Team to assess and take countermeasures
- Make sure all criminal events have the required documentation and evidence collected, as required by police and insurance company
- Liaise with Police, Brink’s Security and local Operations to identify countermeasures against risk and oversee implementation of those
- Monitor EOD and Inventory balancing issues and ensure Field Ops is taking corrective actions
- Help reduce risk across the organization by escalating early where concerns arise
- Support Cash Operations with Cash Forecasting and Other duties, as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Display a hunger for learning and an ability to influence others with a positive approach
- Experience preferred in VTS or similar Operations (ATM, Cash Handling, Logistics etc)
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record
A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required.
