DURATION : Permanent
Shift Notes:
Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 pm, Friday 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening or weekend hours will be required based on program needs.
Weekend Requirements: TBD
Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard. .64 per mile
Any training paid for by TGC.

Paid holidays include: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, ½ day for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday), Christmas eve and Christmas Day.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be a human services professional with at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field. - Required
- Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. - Required
- Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness. - Required
- Must have a valid Michigan Chauffeur License and a good driving record. - Required
- Must have the ability to engage adult mental health consumers, their families and supporters.
- Must be an expert in helping consumers identify their service needs and preferences and helping them build on their individual strengths, resources and supports to navigate the network of services available at the agency and in the community.
- Must have an orientation toward providing community outreach services.
- Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness, their families and providers.
- Candidates must be able to work independently, demonstrate effective organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.
Individual programs may have additional requirements.
Additional requirements include: cultural competency, the ability to work effectively with a diverse population, the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals and families in a variety of modes of treatment, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers, and a willingness to be flexible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.45 - $30.82 per hour
