CompassCare is seeking a caregiver for our male client in Bethany, CT. This is a live-in assignment that includes weekends. Heavy lifting and physical work are required. Candidates must be patient, empathetic, and experienced in home care.

• Pay starts at $300/day for live-in shifts. Overtime and holiday pay applies.

What Our Caregivers Do:

The care that we provide starts with a customized care plan that has been created to meet the specific needs of the client. Our caregivers build a strong relationship with the client to learn how to go above and beyond, providing care well beyond the care plan that has been provided.

Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Care Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client.

Responsibilities:

• Provide concierge level care, including enrichment activities, outings, and more
• Provide companionship and engagement
• Provide light housekeeping & meal preparation
• Follow a detailed care plan
• Complete reporting to be shared with the Care Team
• Assist with personal care
• Provide transportation and accompany client to appointments
