Schedule: Monday - Friday; may include weekends and evenings.

Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees the functioning of designated Goodwill Industries of San Diego County’s Community Employment Center. Ensures that clients are served at the center and/or virtually through video calls, phone calls and email in the job search efforts by understanding their employment interests, identifying their skills and qualifications, providing potential job leads, and assisting them in their action plan toward placement in employment. Guarantees that skill development workshops are offered regularly at employment centers and virtually via video calls so that job seekers have the opportunity to grow in their skill, talent, and potential. Role models how to coach and assist clients in their job pursuits. Responsible for meeting annual goals in serving, assisting, offering Job Readiness Certificate program, and placing clients.

Essential Functions Statements:
- Supervises, trains, and ensures that Career Advisor I is equipped to greet, assist, and assess the needs of clients who either call or visit the Community Employment Center.
- Ensures that clients are served either in-person or virtually by understanding employment interests, identifying skills, providing potential job leads, and assisting in action plan toward placement.
- Ensures that the center is a friendly, safe, productive environment for the job seekers in their search process.
- Promotes, schedules, and conducts CEC Job Readiness workshops for clients and Goodwill Industries of San Diego County ambassadors.
- Ensures center is meeting its key performance indicators (enrollments, visits, placements, job readiness certificates and success stories) bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Monitors progress on key performance indicators to identify trends and make adjustments to meet target goals.
- Assists Employment Services Manager in outreach to the community to promote the resources of
the Community Employment Center to attract new clients. - Assists Employment Services Manager and employers in identifying employment opportunities
for clients and organizing hiring events and career fairs - Responsible for meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
