The duties of the Care Team Assistant include:
- Working in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
- Supporting the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
- Assisting with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
- Assisting patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.
You will be joining the energetic Radiology CT/MRI team at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego where you will assist the Radiology department with setting up and cleaning patient rooms and also assisting with positioning and transporting patients and equipment. We are looking for someone who is up to the task to take initiative to complete tasks with urgency and remain committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
This is a part-time (40 hours every two weeks) benefited position, working 8 hour varied shifts on various days. Located at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support for health care provider through American Heart Association
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multiple patient care skills preferred
- Prefer one-year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
- Previous experience working in Radiology preferred
