Job description
Must have a current License to practice in the State of Louisiana. CPR certification required. Other credentials as required. Previous cardiology experience highly preferred. Previous nursing experience in an appropriate healthcare setting. Minimum of two years critical care/cardiology experience or telemetry experience preferred.Primarily responsible for acting as a physician extender in a Cardiology outpatient practice. Will provide medical assistance to the physician in a professional manner. Will also provide for patients in a caring, efficient, and compassionate manner. Handles patient phone calls. Responsible for ensuring that patient record documentation is complete and accurate.
