Job Summary: Administers non-invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures. Briefs patients on procedures to obtain optimum test results. Completes appropriate clerical duties. Maintains equipment and supplies. Schedules patients as needed. Communicates with departments to coordinate patient testing. Contacts attending physicians in the event that a life-threatening condition is revealed while performing tests.
Educational/Licensing: CCT - Certified Cardiovascular Technician. BLS required.
Qualifications: Experience in direct patient care. Ability to identify cardiac rhythms. Experience in performing EKG's, Stress tests, Holter and Event Monitor application. Ability to work independently.
