Purpose/Duties
Performs a variety of Card & Digital Payments functions in a timely and accurate manner according to established guidelines and procedures. Maintains introductory knowledge of assigned Card & Digital Payments duties. Duties include but are not limited to commercial and consumer tasks related debit, credit and gift card activities.
Key Result Areas

  • Provides prompt, friendly and accurate service to internal and external customer for debit, credit and gift card related inquiries.
  • Processes daily claims which include issuing credits, ordering new cards, updates to the claims database.
  • Responsible for processing of compromised debit and credit cards
  • Analyzes transactions and fraud alert for suspicious activity
  • Conducts research to identify possible fraud and minimize exposure to financial loss
  • Implements fraud prevention policies and techniques
  • Completes quarterly MasterCard reporting
  • Assists with projects including vendor interaction, internal communication, and marketing efforts.
  • Processes and monitors incoming calls, work orders or service requests
  • Actively looks for and recommends process improvements.
  • Processes periodic requests for department related activities including but not limited to gift card orders, plastic card stock orders, Client token administration and orders, MDES provisioning, close fraud cases, Reg E claims
  • Responsible for upholding all credit union ethical standards.
  • Ensures general ledger reconcilements are completed and submitted Processes orders for plastic card stock and gift cards
  • Professional and efficient communications with all departments in order to promote teamwork and high quality member service Represents the credit union in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform other essential job functions as required or assigned.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year related card processing experience
  • Minimum 1 year credit/debit card fraud analysis
  • Minimum 1 year problem resolution
  • Minimum 1 year Microsoft Office
