Lewis-Palmer School District is looking for campus security personnel at Palmer Ridge High School. Campus Security will provide armed presence; patrolling, monitoring campus entrances exits while providing student and visitor supervision. Five years of related experience in law enforcement or military security training is sought with a successful candidate having current Colorado Peace Officer Standard Training or an acceptable equivalent. Must currently have or be able attain and maintain CPR, First Aide training along with National Incident Management (NIMS) training. Experience in working with school-aged children is beneficial.
Palmer Ridge High School
This is a full-time postion with benefits working approximately 190 days. Starting pay will be between $17.32 and $18.99 dependent on experience and qualifications. Anticipated start date is August 1. This position is open until July 30, 2022.
Newly hired classified staff will receive a $1,000 bonus. ($500 to be paid after 90 days and $500 to be paid at the end of the school year.)
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
