• Looking for a Camp Director to partner with, here at AYCC! A motivated and energetic individual who can help us continue to move the organization forward. Some of the primary functions of this position are:

• To assist in the design, delivery, and evaluation of camp programs and educational trips
• Provide direct support and supervision for Camps and Trips program staff and volunteers
• Design and implement a marketing plan to increase enrollments in Camp and Trip program
• Generate revenue to support Camp Tracy programs and operations through off season groups and facility rentals
• Assist with property development and coordinate maintenance needs

Candidates are required to pass an extensive fingerprinting background screen though the State of Maine, Federal Government and Department of Health and Human Services.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Physical Education or other related field and minimum of 5 years related experience. In lieu of a degree, prior work experience in a relevant setting will be considered.
• Additional certifications from YMCA, ACA or other nationally recognized organizations preferred.
• Training/Experience in team building, group facilitation, ropes course, archery, boating, and other related skills preferred.
• Training/certification in Wilderness First Responder or comparable medical certification preferred.
• General knowledge of maintaining facilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to pass State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Motor Vehicle, Fraud and Sex Offender Registry background checks.

Pay: $41,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
