Works with other counse lors and isimmediately responsible forthe camper#s safety and participat ion. Demonstrates leadership,management and technical skillsthrough effe ctive collaboration, using team resources, progressivedecision making an d personalImplements summer camp daily activities, evaluating the progre ss ofcamp, and continually interfacingwith parents, staff and participan ts.Participates in daily camp activities and occasional trips includings wimming, games, hiking, and othersummer children#s activities scheduled throughout camp.Evaluates camp daily and suggests improvements, needs, h azards andtrends to Camp Director forfurther evaluation and follow-up.As sists with set-up and clean-up of recreation events and programming.Prom otes safe work practices and ensurescompliance with all safetyAttends m eetings and other related events.Maintains individual knowledge and skil ls to be able to carry out allduties of camp personnel.Perform other rel atedduties incidental to the work described herein.Interpersonal skills;Must be able to swim and operate in a pool
