Applus Technologies, a leader in the vehicle testing industry, is seeking a full-time Call Center Representatives for our Remote Call Center.

These positions provide telephone support for motorists seeking information regarding the Massachusetts Safety & Emissions Inspection Program. The positions also provide telephone support for inspection station personnel about processes, procedures and basic equipment troubleshooting. After a minimum of 30 day training on-site, this position will work remotely.

Call Center Rep duties and responsibilities include:

• Professionally respond and resolve inquiries from motorists and inspection station personnel regarding program rules and requirements, procedures, test results, and station locations.
• Identifying when an escalation to management will result in best overall customer satisfaction for the motorist.
• Open and dispatch service calls for equipment service issues that cannot be resolved over the telephone or live chat.
• Generate part and supply orders for inspection stations when requested

Qualifications for the Call Center Rep positions include:

• 1 - 3 years’ work experience in a Customer Service or Call Center roles with specific experience successfully resolving conflict preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with co-workers, motorists, state agencies and inspection station representatives in a variety of situations, including stressful.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Competency with Microsoft Office programs, including basic data entry skills
• Fluency in additional languages, such as Portuguese and Spanish, preferred.
• Must be available to work at least 2 Saturdays per month from 7:00 AM until Noon.
