JOB SUMMARY:

The Membership Call Center Agent will be responsible for contributing to and delivering on Sanitas strategy for the population engagement. The Call Center Agent will be responsible for effectively promoting Sanitas Model and brand in the community in order to originate leads.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To deliver exceptional service to existing and prospective members/patients to ensure that Sanitas strategy is maximized each year.

  • The Membership Call Center Agent outgoing, energetic, and creative while performing their job responsibilities.

  • Must be able to meet specific Leads creation as outlined by the Leadership.

  • Report productivity as established by Membership Administrative Manager.

  • Explain and talk about Sanitas value proposition, Sanitas services and Care model to originate leads.

  • Marketing support to enhance brand awareness.

  • Work extended hours and weekends when needed.

  • Teamwork oriented and goal driven.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships within the department.

  • Use of the SW and tools provided to achieve results.

  • Obtains person information by interviewing and verifying data.

  • Determines eligibility by comparing person information to requirements.

  • Informs people by explaining procedures, answering questions and providing information.

  • Maintains communication equipment by reporting problems.

  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.

  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.

  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • 2+ years of Customer Service skills and training

  • 2+ years of experience in the medical field (sales).

  • Sales of health plans in call center experience

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience.

  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, call center services and the medical field.

Relevant or any other job-related vocational coursework.
