We are a Brooklyn Cafe looking for a fabulous Barista who knows about coffee and goes out of their way to give our customers a pleasant experience.
Job Responsibilities:
The Barista we are looking for knows about coffee and is able to recommend drinks to clients. They will be able to recommend pastries and snacks that would go well with a customer's coffee order. We're looking for a Barista who is happy to answer customer questions and can educate customers on different flavors of different types of coffees.

Barista Job Duties:

• Advise customers about different coffee drinks sold at the cafe
• Answers customers' questions and educates customers about different beans and flavors
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso lungo, cafe latte, and cappuccino. Makes a really good cup of coffee
• Listens to customers' requests and advises management about new products
• Ensures that all equipment is kept clean , and maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Barista Skills and Qualifications:

Three years of experience as a Barista is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
