Job Summary:

Works directly with Bay View Funding’s Business Development Officers and is responsible for reviewing and approving new business factoring applicants.

Pay Range: Base Compensation is dependent upon role, experience, and skill set: Min- $86,295/yr Max- $143,825/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for reviewing and approving new business factoring applicants.
  • Performs credit analysis for both client and client’s customers to determine eligibility for factoring program.
  • Works with Business Development officers, Private Label Clients and third party referral parties in reviewing, structuring and approving factoring facilities for prospective clients.
  • Works directly with Credit Administrators to request and review results of due diligence, and prepare factoring documentation.
  • Works with Portfolio Management to audit and confirm receivables for initial advance to new client.
  • Reviews various forms of third party loan documentation that may require subordination agreements.
  • Negotiates and prepares subordination and/or creditor agreements with other institutions or tax authorities.
  • Negotiates factoring documents with prospective clients which may include interacting with attorneys representing the prospective client and/or Bay View Funding.
  • Assists Portfolio Management (as needed) to re-document existing client’s factoring facilities.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
