Job description
We are seeking a professional butcher to prepare meat to the chefs exact specifications by using a wide variety of processes including handling, deboning, trimming and seasoning. A successful butcher candidate will play a key role in our preparation team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer, report and follow Executive or Sous Chefs instructions
Stock inventory appropriately
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Butchering by hand or using a saw
Maintain a positive and professional approach with fellow line cooks, coworkers and guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven butcher experience
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiarity with industrys best practices.
Familiarity with food health and safety guidelines.
Flexible schedule.
Reliable transportation
