JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst & Software Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of professionally engineered Business Solutions and Internal Application Tools, as required, to fulfill the needs of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop full stack applications using SQL Server, C#, .NET, node.js, and modern web development languages
- Data analysis, ETL functions, SQL reporting
- Implement internal application tools to assist QED employees in daily tasks, automation, analysis and business intelligence
- Work with IT and subject matter experts across the organization to establish the requirements for new features and feature enhancements, and then translate into a specification, documenting as appropriate
- Implement software component(s) as per the design, within agreed upon deadlines
- Carry out appropriate code-level testing
- Work with QA to create and review test plans and, at times, help to execute functional, integration and system testing
- Participate in the resolution of issues and software bugs identified before and after release
- Provide technical mentorship and standards-setting for other software developers within the IT Dept.
- Provide back up support for IT staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology, Communication, Business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 - 4 year's work experience in software development field or equivalent
- Experience developing in T-SQL/PL-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience using .NET, C#, JavaScript, node.js

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
