The Role:
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As a Business Systems Analyst II this role will focus on data automation and development processes, working with our technical teams to enhance and build new processes.

Position Purpose:
Collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements that will be used by the design and development teams to build the technical solutions that fulfills the business needs.

Contribute to the entire implementation process.
Drive definition of improvements based on business needs and architectural improvements.
Responsible for build, test, root cause analysis, and complex performance tuning.
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.

Additionally you will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.

Technical Skills:
Experience with Data Processing required.
Experience with SQL, VBA, Oracle, and SSMS as well as an understanding of stored procedures and database design.
Experience with SAS and SAS Enterprise is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Other: health care payer business functions and operations required.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Scaled Agile (SAFe) Software Development required.

Soft Skills:
Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty.
Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Intermediate - Ability to work independently.
