Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in information technology, management information systems, computer science, accounting, finance, economics, business administration or a related field and four (4) years of systems, technical and/or business analysis experience.
Licenses and Certificates: Texas Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent license issued by another state.
Special Requirements: Applicants for positions assigned to the Department of Information Technology Services must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) finger-print based background check within the first six months from hire and maintain CJIS eligibility. CJIS requirements are related to system access and the following list of convictions and/or deferred adjudications will result in failure of the CJIS background check and disqualification and termination from employment: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
Perform administrative, professional and incidental duties as assigned. Involves: Conduct special studies. Attend meetings and conferences, and represent the department as necessary. Prepare and present special and recurring reports and recommendations. Assist in the preparation of project budgets. Compile data, generate reports, and maintain database, records and files. Perform special projects as assigned.
