Job Description: Mfinite Consulting is seeking a Business Process Analyst (BPA) to augment a high-performing team providing services and support that enable student and employee success, and technology solutions to enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will bring to bear their information technology expertise by identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will focus on delivering creative and efficient solutions that increase productivity while reducing costs and improving the customer experience. This innovator will be the driver needed to streamline business processes, develop, and support process improvements that eliminate redundancy.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define the purpose, goal, and scope of the Business Process Reengineering project.
• Analyze existing workflow processes, define business requirements, and recommend improvements to, or reengineering of, workflow processes to meet identified business requirements.
• Analyze the operational, technical, and economic risks of reengineering efforts.
• Identify requirements that will meet the needs of the clients.
• Document the reengineering methodologies utilized to recommend improvements in processes and the methods of implementation.
• Assist the Information Technology department in developing technical solutions for recommended process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science or other related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing advisory role.
• Hands-on expertise in process modeling, process documentation/visualization, and other core process related capabilities.
• Documented success applying Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and/or other process related methodologies.
• Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and related processes.
• Significant experience engaging with and delivering work products to senior executives.
• Two or more years of experience in business operations and systems/business requirements processes.
• Highly organized with the ability to keep track of multiple projects, requirements, action items, and follow through to task closure.
• Proven analytical abilities.
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights and translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Skilled in interpreting user requirements, needs, and issues.
