The role you’ll contribute:
The Business Operations Manager, is responsible to provide oversight of the non-clinical operations of the home care agency. Duties include but are not limited to oversight of clerical and business functions, including licensure and certification by appropriate agencies, maintaining appropriate staffing levels and overall daily operations to facilitate the smooth and efficient operations of the departments.

- Demonstrates effective administrative skills in planning, organizing, and implementing work assignments and projects, meeting goals and guidelines outlined for the departments.
- Oversees and supports of all duties associated with office support services and supervision of non-skilled personnel in the day-to-day operation of the agency. Includes maintenance of office keys, office supplies, monitoring biohazardous waste process, facility issues and maintenance, maintenance of contract and HR files, background screening, licensure and certification processes.
- Ensures maintenance of licensure and certification by appropriate agencies. Works with agency leadership to complete applications to federal, state and private programs, and accreditation applications as needed.
- Supervises scheduling of patient services, and coordination of admission assignments with intake and clinical staff.
- Will supervise the following team members:
- Medical Records Clerk
- Scheduler(s)
- Medical Supplier
- Payroll Clerk
- Payroll Clerk Assistant
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelors Degree or 4+ years experience
- 3 years Leadership Experience
- Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field OR 4 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in home health business development and/or intake operations, with a proven record of leading a team in incremental growth.
- Current or recent experience managing a multi-site / multi-territory setting
- Prefer a Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Prefer at least two (2) years' experience in Home Health Services
- Prefer AHA BLS Certification
- Prefer a licensed Notary (State of Florida)
- Certified as a State of Florida approved Alzheimer's Certified Instructor
