Position Summary:

The Operations Assistant will complete a variety of tasks related to certain areas of responsibility of the Business Office - Finance, Human Resources, and Office Management. This position will assist with daily financial record keeping and reconciliation of various financial processes, volunteer recruitment efforts, and activities to facilitate organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Finance Support

· Supports the Finance & Operations Director in matters of compliance, audits & bookkeeping.

· Processes mail, recording donations, payments, and approved bills in several systems.

· Tracks Federated Campaign donations and matching gifts.

· Prepares and sends fundraising-related invoices and records payments in several record-keeping systems.

· Manages business office and PerkUp Café petty cash process and reconciliation.

· Maintains monthly credit card record-keeping of receipts from management team.

· Supports the organization at AutismUp events as part of the Finance Team.

HR Support

· Responds to volunteer and internship inquiries and ensures we capture necessary on boarding information.

· Assists with team building and employee recognition efforts.

· Attends recruitment events and represents AutismUp in the community.

· Assists with reference checking of applicants.

· Helps with filing staff paperwork.

Office Management Support

· Provides excellent front line customer service for families and staff.

· Manages AU use of shared meeting/program space, reserving space and arranging for any additional materials needed for such meetings or trainings.

· Maintains inventory of office and cleaning supplies, postage and meeting refreshments and orders items as needed.

· Responds to general inquiries and distributes contact@autismup.orgemail to staff.

· Maintains dedicated AutismUp public office area appearance ensuring positive impression aligned with brand image; organizes shared storage supply areas.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 3-5 years’ experience in an office setting

· Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and QuickBooks is a plus

· Team oriented and can multi-task

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
