About this role:

The Legal Entity Office (LEO) is the enterprise-wide legal entity governance function at Wells Fargo. The LEO is broadly accountable to fulfill the mandate of managing enterprise-wide Legal Entity governance operational processes throughout the Legal Entity lifecycle. Specifically, the LEO exists to establish/enable/drive execution of cross-functional legal entity governance over the 3,000+ legal entities that Wells Fargo directly or indirectly owns, manages, operates or sponsors.

In addition to standards, the Legal Entity Policy designates the governance structure that enables appropriate consideration of legal entity matters. The Legal Entity Rationalization (LER) Criteria ensure that the Company's corporate structure facilitates resolvability as strategic changes occur. The LER Criteria are composed of priorities, decision points and specific decision parameters, including quantitative and qualitative metrics. The LER team conducts annual assessments of Wells Fargo's legal entity structure and inter-affiliate relationships and monitors/escalates LER exceptions and waivers.

The LEO needs a motivated Business Execution Consultant to support internal LEO governance, LER governance/coordination activities and other strategic initiatives. Successful candidate has experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, excellent oral/written communication skills and experience supporting large scale initiatives. Role reports directly to Head of the LEO and will functionally support Program Initiatives and Management (PIM) Lead in the LER space. HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE: 3 days/week in office, 2 days remote

In this role, you will:
  • Facilitate event-driven resolvability assessments to ensure various triggers (new products/services, LE changes including inter-affiliate funding changes, M&A) only proceed based on review against LER Criteria
  • Participate in various assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Engage with enterprise stakeholders to facilitate periodic (at least annual) LER assessments
  • Identify process improvement opportunities by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Review/research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Develop/implement/monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function and business performance opportunities to manage/guide risk deliverables with strong-minded leaders
  • Provide guidance on applying LER Criteria
  • Partner with Resolution and Recovery Program Office
  • Escalate matters to the appropriate committees as needed
  • Collaborate and consult with team staff, leaders, executive management
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Intermediate SharePoint and Power BI preferred
  • Interediate-Advanced Excel (manipulate data V Lookups, macros; queries a plus)
  • Solid collaboration/communication skills to interact with strong-minded leaders, establish relationships, deliver against strict deadlines
  • Control/risk management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables at same time within fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with research skills, independent judgement, intellectual curiosity
