The Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a hungry and innovative Business Development/Sales Representative to support our Halls, TN facility. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for day-to-day business development duties relating to developing sales in cores and non-core markets and building/retaining client relationships. Also, responsible for developing key business alliances to leverage for new business and assists sales team in business acquisition processes as necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Identify new opportunities within established markets leveraging previous successes
  • Leverage network for new contacts and opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing clientele
  • Identify and qualify new viable markets (business channels)
  • Obtain knowledge and critical data in qualified markets; Identify target clients; Identify specific business opportunities; Develop relationships in qualified markets
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Presentations/facility tours
  • Strategize solutions; Price/Estimate projects;
  • Close business and negotiate contracts
  • Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED plus related college courses
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development, with experience in packaging, assembly, fulfillment and/or retail distribution.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales process, packaging, assembly and/or fulfillment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • College degree
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, profits, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Excellent crisis manager who demonstrates that he/she has a high emotional control under adverse conditions and can lead his/her personnel to a successful resolution.
  • Demonstrated confidence including providing a consistent leadership style with an acceptable level of professional assertiveness.
  • Professional appearance to support his/her role as a managerial representative.
  • Excellent employee relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts either involving the supervisor directly or as a third party, understands and demonstrates positive motivational skills including coaching and delegation techniques.
