Position Summary
This position performs a variety of executive duties in support of Critical Rental Solutions. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating and engaging with business partners to build new business for the company. This role will strategically plan the approach to the clients and offer compelling solutions to cater the client's needs. The Business Development Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing relationships to meet sales growth goals.

Essential Functions
- In depth understanding of industrial rental business, air compressor related experience a plus.
- Identify partnership opportunities.
- Develop new executive relationships with clients to grow business and aid territory growth efforts.
- Maintain existing executive relationships to maintain current levels of business.
- Plan strategically to assure project success.
Education/Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of industry-related business development experience
- Knowledgeable about oil free rotating equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of success marketing strategies
- Focused and goal oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift- up to 10 pounds; infrequently lift-up to 20 pounds unaided.
- Ability to frequently stoop, reach, bend, twist, lift, grip, and other movements/actions associated with office/clerical occupations.
- Ability to hear, comprehend, speak, and sit for long periods of time.
- Vision sufficient for computer use and paperwork.
- Safe operation of a company vehicle.

- Develop and maintain executive contacts outside the Company, directly with customers.
- Develop and maintain positive and respectful contacts inside the Company, with all levels of employees.
Mental Demands
- Potential stress in working with multiple tasks, working with various deadlines, and competing Company demands
Working Conditions
- Regular working hours (Monday through Friday) with afterhours support in demand period and during high priority situations or emergencies.
- May involve some weekend and holiday work, as required.
- Non-smoking office and shop environments.
- Will be required to use Personal P rotection Equipment (PPE) in shop areas.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing or rental operation related to air compressors with annual sales in about the $20-30 million range. Experience in controls is not required, but a plus.
- Track record of success in negotiating with and managing relationships with clients and inspiring and maintaining the confidence of staff and key customers.
- Significant experience with ERP systems (the company uses InspHire)
- Strong organizational and planning, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, high-growth-rate environment.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and pitch in to make things happen. By example, inspiring and motivating others to perform at a high level.
- Team player with strong work ethic
