Dewberry’s Houston Architecture practice is growing! We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Houston, TX office .
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. A Business Development Manager is responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Ideal candidate will coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Responsibilities:
- Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain, through leads and lead management.
- Arranging business development meetings with current and prospective clients for all team mates.
- Develop a growth strategy with the team to focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting client's objectives.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assist with developing entry level staff members into valuable salespeople if needed and assist the team in any other ways with interview prep and marketing tasks.
- Continue to build a rapport with current clients.
- Attend industry events and get involved in organizations deemed worth by the team to continue to have a presence in the community. Along with organizing philanthropic opportunities for the team.
- The Business Development Manager will be the first point of contact for a new potential client and will help the company when they are seeking information about potential projects.
- Respond to RFPs and vendors, developing sales in territories that may not have been able to have had the time devoted to them before.
- Use current skills to build long-standing and successful relationships with key clients.
- Have a clear, decisive way of communicating so that we can adapt solutions for different needs on behalf of our clients.
- To be an ambitious and energetic representative to help Dewberry to expand clientele.
- Will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
