Position Purpose:
Provide support to maintain production operation of line. Assist with gathering materials for operations of lines. Checks orders and assist with minimizing downtime. Perform production duties to ensure line runs accordingly. Perform other duties and help in other areas as needed. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL.
Essential Functions:
Verifies with production schedule the proper usage of supplies such as raw material(s), labels, film, and boxes.
Reads production order or follows oral instructions to determine cheese type, style and packaging material required.
Follows specifications as indicated by the product, package size and production order. Operates switches on the control panel to start, stop, and adjust the machine.
Observes and performs tasks related to operation of machine/line and detect and corrects inconsistencies. Required to perform the following tasks on product lines in cream cheese as needed:
Fill product & box hoppers, sleeve product, box product, make boxes, label boxes, and palletize cases ranging from 30#-50#.
Periodically trains other support partners on other shifts in the operation and preventative maintenance of machinery.
Understands duties and responsibilities for all positions on the line and can demonstrate proficiency in each of them. Assist in other operations as needed including general sanitation.
Ability and willingness to interact in a positive, professional and team oriented manner with people at many levels and in many roles
Ability and willingness to lead and maintain an attitude of flexibility and cooperation in all interactions. May help on other lines as needed.
Assist in development and implementation of SOP’s, PCP’s and GMP’s
