Job: Building Automation System Technician - Building Controls/Security/CCTV
Office: Tampa/West

The qualified individuals must have a minimum of 3 years of electronic building control system, security system, or CCTV system installation experience. The right individual will have a professional appearance and demeanor and clean driving record.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the controls industry; performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and service tasks.
- Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a high paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the schedules given by the leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate independently and autonomously and take ownership of all tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills and team oriented
- Ability to read blueprints and understand instructions, control drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Access Control, and CCTV Systems and equipment.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve low voltage electrical problems quickly and logically.
- Technical, hands-on experience with commissioning and programming of DDC controls.
- Proficiency with integration protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, etc)
- Proficiently install and bend conduit.
- Experience running wire in finished buildings (closed walls) in challenging situations as well as terminating cables.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
- A clean driving record and a current, valid, Florida driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems requiring knowledge of a variety of electronic and digital controls systems and ability to test and make modifications as required by each project.
- Responsible for device testing (end-to-end), program downloading, equipment start-up and operation.
- Implement databases, controls sequences, programs, and graphics for new construction and retrofit projects.
- Provides start-up and checkout documentation for use in commissioning and validation.
- Organize and demonstrate required BAS project sequences to meet commissioning agents' requirements.
- Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and as-built drawings
- Manage Customer Accounts, making sure customers are happy and satisfied, requesting referrals, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform routine maintenance on control systems. Posts and keeps up with his or her paperwork and work orders. Posts records of safety checks and inspection dates of assigned equipment.
- Schedule & coordinate projects to ensure accurate and on time completion.
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
