Job description

The Lane Construction Corporation is one of America’s leading construction companies, specializing in large, complex civil infrastructure. For nearly 130 years, it has contributed to the development of the country’s vast network of roads, highways, and bridges, including the Interstate Highway System. Lane also specializes in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants. This project is extending the 183A Tollway out to TX-29.

Responsibilities:

• Forming and pouring/finishing bridge columns, pier caps, abutments, bridge decks, retaining walls, drainage structures, and misc. items
• Setting bridge deck panels and beams
• Setting up and running Bidwell bridge deck concrete paving machines
• Tying/setting rebar cages
• Crane rigging and flagging

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
• Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
