Starting Rate: $23.30 an hour for day shift, with a differential for night shift
Work Hours: This is a 12-hour rotating shift position, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights
Location: We have 2 locations in Harrisonburg. This job is at our North Plant location at 2347 Kratzer Road.
As a Boxmaker Operator, you will:
- Run the boxmaker to targeted speeds while maintaining quality
- Make-ready machine using appropriate materials
- Maintain required records and the mechanical condition of the equipment
- Help coordinate workflow to best meet the needs of manufacturing
- Ability to read/write English and do basic math; intermediate computer skills needed
- Excellent judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift and lift up to 75 pounds
- Prior machine operating experience
