Position Summary: A Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions, reconciles, and balances accounts and assists with financial inquires over the phone. Duties and Responsibilities:• Reviews Accounts Payable batches for accuracy and proper approval• Posts Accounts Payable batches to the accounting system• Responsible for the compilation of the Accounts Payable month end accruals• Responsible for balancing and collecting Accounts Receivables• Reports Accounts Receivable aging concerns to the Controller• Reviews and posts DSR• Prepares standard journal entries related to revenue audits• Audits• Responsible for maintaining and coordinating the storage of Accounting records• Responds to credit card charge backs and/or inquiries in a timely manner What we are looking for:• R365 experience a plus• Previous AP/AR experience• Restaurant experience a plus Ideal Candidate:• 1-2 years experience in a revenue audit supervisory role is preferred• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required• Proficient with computers (Microsoft Products), POS and technology• Strong interpersonal skills and financial acumen• Vast product knowledge• Professional verbal and written communication with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership.• Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time• All other duties as assigned
