Job description

We are seeking a Bindery Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM). Bindery Supervisor oversees the Bindery team, maximizes productivity and promotes a safe working environment.

Bindery Supervisor responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing 24/7 Bindery labor and equipment operations, of a high volume diversified Finishing department.
• Reports to and receives direction from General Manager and Assistant General Manager on strategic planning, policy, and procedures.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Documents Bindery Procedures for Equipment.
• Formally trains staff in equipment procedures.
• Documents Bindery Procedures for all Workflows.
• Interfaces with Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping to ensure quality service to internal customers.
• Ensures compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Requires relevant work experience.
• Willing to work weekly overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
• Must have sound basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
