• Review and audit billing systems and activities to ensure accuracy
• Assure claims are submitted and denials are appropriately appealed and resubmitted
• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
• Evaluate patients’ financial status and devise appropriate payment plans
• Track and resolve billing discrepancies
• Follow-up on delinquent accounts and ensure payments where possible
• Prepare bi-monthly charges report for clinic
• Manage accounts receivable reports
• Answer questions and resolve problems regarding medical billing activities
• Assist colleagues with any billing, insurance or account questions and offer solutions
• Assist physicians with coding questions
• Liaison between practice, physicians, staff, patients, and billing office
• Conduct monthly staff meetings regarding billing planning and implementation
• Point of contact for any patient billing complaints

• 5 years of RCM, Medical Collections, Claims Processing, or AR experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity is required
• High school diploma is required
• Undergraduate Degree preferred
