Telecom Billing Analyst – Contract

We are adding to the team and looking for a telecom analyst. The candidate will act as front-line support for a complex telecommunications audit project that involves auditing, reviewing, and reconciling billing and telecom services for a Fortune client.

Description

Overview:

We are searching for a Telecom Billing analyst responsible for developing and analyzing Telecom bills to ensure accurate billing and categorization.

Responsibilities:

· Work with third-party consultants and carriers to assess circuit IDs to identify circuit locations.

· Audit and assess the current telecom environment.

· Audit Telecom bills for contractual compliance, charge variances, and accuracy.

· Take data from multiple sources and compare for accuracy, find cost overages, and savings opportunities.

· Utilize carrier and network services supplier portals to extract billing and operational data for baseline creation and analysis.

· Responsible for auditing Telecom bills, identifying errors, filing disputes, and confirming complete bill accuracy.

· Work on billing records and correlate services against CSRs.

· Creating detailed reports and summaries based on large amounts of data.

· Document the telecom services infrastructure.

Experience

· Worked with carrier billing records and CSRs.

· Experience with carrier billing records.

· Worked for a Service provider, telecom consulting or agent in the billing department.

· Experience performing thorough audits.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

· Know telecommunication terminology and services.

· Experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) systems

· Telecommunications billing and systems experience

· Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently present data statistics

· Strong analytic skills and attention to details

· MS Excel proficient

· Minimum five years of general telecommunications and technical experience.

· Independent thinker and self-starter, who can work well within a team environment.

· Analytical and detail oriented.

· Excellent written and verbal communications.

Education: bachelor’s degree Information technology or

Pay: $86,308.00 - $93,340.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
• Telecommunication: 5 years (Preferred)
