Job Purpose:

Work as an employee for a State Farm independent agent assisting in providing quality service to State Farm customers and assisting with the agent’s marketing efforts.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

· Experience in customer service desirable

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Knowledge of insurance products desirable but not required

SKILLS/ ABILITIES

· Bilingual - Spanish REQUIRED

· Strong listening, oral and written communications skills

· Initiative and Self Reliance: make decisions on a timely basis and take necessary actions without direction from others

· Goal oriented: highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results.

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders.

· Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior

· Ability to organize and act on several activities concurrently

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email and text

· Provide service to the public and policyholders in a prompt, accurate, friendly manner

· Contact prospects and current policyholders to schedule appointments

· Process customer payments in person and by phone

Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
