Job description

We are in need of a PART TIME Spanish/English medical assistant for our gastroenterlogy practice. We will need the medical assistant to go to our Miami Beach office 3 times a week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Take vitals and enter other information into the EMR.
• Schedule appointments
• Update medical records
• Get patient's charts ready for the doctors and PA
• Assist during medical examinations
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH
• Knowledge of electronic medical systems
• Medical Assistant degree
• Hours are 9-5 but sometimes runs into overtime

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
