Summit Academy Enhanced is looking to hire Behavior Support Specialists (BSS) to deliver high-quality ABA services within the school setting. Candidates will work under the direct supervision of highly qualified professionals (i.e., BCBA, psychologists, teachers RBT and TA).

Daily responsibilities may include: delivering evidence-based treatment packages, helping conduct behavioral assessments, implementing lesson plans related to education goals, data collection, and crisis support as needed.

• Support Teacher in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates
• Provide behavioral consultation to teams under the guidance of the Clinical and Education Case Managers
• Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systems
• Assist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need
• Assist with routine classroom functions
• Assist with home-school communication
• Provide crisis intervention for individuals and assist with classroom routines
• Collect, organize and maintain direct observational data within the classroom and treatment room setting
• Complete or assist with the completion of reports
• Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines
