This ABA organization is looking for a Full-time Behavior Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician to serve children with Autism using ABA therapy. If you are a Behavior Therapist, this organization will support you and provide the 40 hrs of PAID training to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
Since this organization provides services for Medicaid, the Registered Behavior Technician certificationis required (but they will help you get there)!
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide direct one-on-one instruction using principles of applied behavior analysis in a clinic, home, residential or school setting.
This ABA organization is looking for a Full-time Behavior Therapist to serve children with Autism using ABA therapy.
Evening hours (3-8pm) available based on candidate availability and client need. One weekend day is also required.
**SIGN ON BONUS of $150.00 after 90 days of employment.
Full time staff who meet the requirements may have the opportunity to move to salary after 6 months.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Implementation of goals and teaching plans created by the Behavior Analyst
- Data collection related to the goals and behavior plans
- Electronic filing of data and clinical documentation within a 24 hour timeframe
- Attend mandatory trainings conducted by the ABA organization
- Proactively communicate with Behavior Analyst and Program Manager
- Maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPPA laws and regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Exposure to psychology, human development, or behavior analysis preferred
- Minimum education required is a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments
DESIRED SKILLS
- Prefer candidates working toward a bachelors or masters level program
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must pass a background check
- First Aid/CPR training preferred
WORK STATUS
- This is a full time position
TRAVEL
- 100% travel between clients home and required meetings - you are paid an hourly wage for the travel time between clinic and homes
- Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of auto insurance
- Multiple locations: Glenview, IL, Evanston, North Chicago
REPORTING
- Reports to Behavior Analyst and Program Manager

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
