Job description
- Proactively communicate with carriers, vendors and BAB associates to ensure completion of goals. Creating and updating receiving metrics.
- Monitor vendor activity and attendance including overseeing vendor work on-site and will follow-up as needed to provide direction/re-direction.
- Prepares regular reports with a variety of data using D365 and MS Office products.
- Analyzes data to present options to supervisor.
- Will troubleshoot receiving issues and present to supervisor.
- Utilizes office equipment and computers to complete work using MS Office products.
- Finding solutions to improve customer service and target accurate receipt of receivables.
- Monitoring quality assurance.
- Email resolution activity to BQ Partners (i.e. Accounting, Purchasing, Planning and Allocation).
- Put forth recommendations once approved by supervisor.
- Helping directly with receiving function to receive packages from a variety of carriers and sorting or processing them.
- Facilitating Guest returns to the E-comm business.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/sit/talk/hear/ be able to be engaged in daily work activities 8 hours or more per day, as scheduled. Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. frequently. Ability to climb stairs several times a day. Ability to use hands, fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, bend.
- Manual dexterity required. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility. Must be available to work occasional overtime throughout the week/weekend and holidays as needed.
