We are looking for empathetic and proficient Certified Nursing Aides to join our team based in Chicago. By joining us as a Certified Nursing Aide, you will be vital in providing exceptional and compassionate care to our patients.

Essential Duties

• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing patients.
• Helping patients move around safely and comfortably, including transferring and positioning them in bed or chairs.
• Responding to patient calls and reporting any concerns to nursing staff.
• Assisting with medical procedures, such as taking specimens for lab tests.
• Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients who need help.
• Keeping patients' living spaces clean and tidy, including changing bed linens and tidying the room.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients who may feel lonely or anxious.
• Maintaining patient records and documenting care provided.
• Following infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Willingness to be trained
• Proof of Vaccination required
• Physically fit to perform tasks that require lifting or transferring patients
• BLS Certification/First Aid encouraged but not required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
