Philadelphia Marriott West is currently seeking an individual for the fulltime position as a Bar and Restaurant Supervisor in our busy Philadelphia Marriott West property at Conshohocken, PA.

As a WORKING Supervisor, we are looking for an energetic, flexible, organized reliable and adaptable member to our Legends Team.

Essential Functions are as follow:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of Food & Beverage Department and ensure that the opening and closing duties are completed.
• Ensure all staff are properly trained on quality and service standards and have the tools needed to effectively carry out their job functions.
• Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with peers and associates. Solicits associate feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy and reviews results to identify and address associate problems or concerns. Reinforce strict and consistent compliance of policies and procedures.
• Supervise the daily/weekly task making all outlets and properly set-up are ready for guests at all times.
• Assist servers, bartenders, and other staff and act as host on the floor during meal periods and high demand times. Be visible and interact with associates to provide consistently high service.
• Handles guest problems and complaints. Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.
• Checks for high volumes, large parties, special event reservations and special event days. Obtain list of arrivals with meal packages.
• Know, maintain and ensure compliance of all local liquor laws and sanitation and safety regulations as well as sanitation standards to ensure safe environment for staff and guests.
• Flexibility to work according to business needs, including early mornings (if needed to cover a shift), nights, weekends and holidays.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
