Not a summer or seasonal position. 3 AM shift. Professional experience in baking is a requirement.

Prepare basic bakery recipes in the operation according to production and quality standards. Weigh, sift, measure, and mix baking ingredients; prepare and bake breads, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other baked goods. Accurately and appropriately utilize the various bakery equipment and if needed, assist with training and monitoring others safe use of equipment. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Follow established timelines for food production as required by delivery times and production schedule.

 Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock
 Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly
 Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display
 Reporting low baked goods stock to the Head Baker/FOH Manager in a timely manner
 Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day
 Managing customer complaints and relaying them to the Head Baker/FOH Manager
 Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders
 Weighing, pricing, and packaging purchased items
 Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter
